Curated by Marcelo Kuna
In this lecture-performance, the artist, Ana Luisa Santos, takes centre stage as a speaking body, embodying the power of the voice, the cry, the right to choose and to experience pleasure. Santos explores Paul Beatriz Preciado’s contrasexual ideas, as set out in the book Contrasexual Manifesto, in an innovative and enlightening way, incorporating his principles of expanded eroticism in a metalinguistic and ironic manner – for example, by using a dildo as a microphone to amplify her own voice. At the Augusto de Lima Foyer at Sesc Palladium, at 7 pm, free admission.

Concept: Marcelo Kuna

A queer artistic proposition, navigating the theoretical and practical intersection between feminist readings of the body and the artist’s creative process in dance. Created as part of the Communication of the Arts of the Body B.A. (PUC-SP), under the supervision of the artist Gaby Imparato, “Transviado” challenges gender binaries. Linking these binaries to the assertion of body-mind dichotomies, the creator-performer dances a concept that conceives the body as a space of process, of indefiniteness and of the end of certainties. At the Augusto de Lima Foyer, Sesc Palladium, at 7 pm, free admission.
